St. Mary’s Catholic Church is in the historical district of German Village in Columbus, Ohio. Hamilton worked closely with the staff of St. Mary’s and the Diocese of Columbus after we discovered a major structural problem with the church falling an inspection of a lightning strike. Hamilton work with the Diocese of Columbus on bringing in a forensic engineer investigate the issues with the trusses and walls in the church. During this time, the church was closed until further noticed. Hamilton worked with the church on coming up with a structural repair, plan moving forward and assisted in raising the funds for the project. Hamilton also helped with resorting some of the items in the church to be reused into the church. Hamilton stored all the items from the church for safety while the reconstruction was being performed. This project was a multi company endeavor from multiple architects, engineers, general contractors, and support of multiple people. This project was a one-of-a-kind type of project, and we wanted to make sure that every detail mattered.
