St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville, Ohio was built in 1895 and the original structural beams where still in places as the main support for the church. Due to termites getting into the church the structural beams were compromised and needed replaced. These timbers were where fresh cut 12”x12” support beams about 14’ long. These had to be removed new concrete footers poured and new wooden 12”x12” support beams added. This is a very time-consuming process and during this process St. Lukes Catholic Church never missed a Mass, or funeral. Hamilton Contractors wanted to make sure that the parish could operate as normal during the construction.
